About Me

I'm Jake Spradling, a full-stack software engineer and founder. I build web apps end to end—from product and UX to the systems that run underneath.

I studied Philosophy at the University of Virginia and started Hoos Coding, where I design and ship full-stack applications for clients. Along the way I've co-founded companies across supply chain and fintech, wearing every hat from engineering to running the business.

These days I work mostly in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with a strong bias toward clean, maintainable code and interfaces that feel effortless to use. I care as much about how something works as how it looks.
